How do I whisper/reply?
To whisper to another player, type "theirname message. For example: "Joe Hello! If you type " while whispering with someone, it will automatically enter the name of the last player you contacted/who contacted you.

How do I request a duel?
You can alt-click the name and select 1:1 battle. You can also press F3 and enter the name. If a player does not wish to duel, don't pester them.

What happens when my character dies?
If you're killed by a monster or a crash, you'll lose SPI. If you don't have enough SPI to lose, you'll lose a certain percentage of EXP. If you're killed by a player or an enemy nation's defenses, you don't lose anything.

How do I use skills?
Press F6, and then click on 'Skill'. Drag your skills into the action bar on the bottom, below your experience bar. You can use those skills by pressing the corresponding key. A skill in slot 1 is used by pressing '1', and so on. You can only use skills if you have enough SP to use them.

What happens when upgrading fails?
The card and weapon/armor disappears. If you use the Upgrade item destruction prevention card (sold in the item-shop) and it fails, you will only lose upgrades over 5.

What are the upgrade chances?
Gamble cards never fail. Your first five upgrades also never fail, but after 5, there's an increasing chance of failure.

How do I increase my loadage?
Puts on a fuel CPU or increases your fuel stat. The fuel adhesive will not help with your loadage.

What is an adhesive?
There are two types of adhesives. Left adhesives which go into the slot below the radar are for items that permanently modify a stat. Right adhesives which go below the engine are timed items that increase a stat or perform some special functions.

Why am I moving so slowly?
If your loadage is over 90%, you will only be able to move at minimum speed.

What is the inventory window for?
This window simply lets you equip different items and change weapons. You can also drag consumable items into your hotkey bar so you can use them faster.

How do you land?
Slow down by the pad, or stop in midair above it, and then press B to land.

How do I use the MP3 player?
Copy your mp3 file(s) into the Music folder in your AirRivals install directory. when you are in the game, click on the arrow-up button and you'll be able to view your songs and select the way they're played. (randomly, in order, repeating, and so on) All controls are similar to those on a CD player, and if you highlight a song and press DELETE, that song will be removed from your playlist. You may also set the player to play from a different directory. Click on 'MUSIC' while in town and it'll prompt you to choose a play directory.

What is fuel?
Fuel is indicated on left top side, above energy/ shield gauge. When all fuel is gone, you can buy it at city supply shop or at the landing site. If you run out of fuel, you'll crash.

Why doesn't the booster work?
If your loadage is over 70%, fuel consumption is doubled. If it's over 80%, you can't use the booster. If it's over 90%, you'll only be able to move at minimum speed. To increase your gears' capacity, either equip a CPU with fuel or spend skill points on fuel.

How can I view the map?
Press M and you'll see the map. Your position is the orange cursor, while your formation members are in green. Their names will appear by their arrows.

How can I take a screenshot?
Press F12 and the screenshot will be saved in your AirRivals install directory as ATM#####.bmp.

What are the keyboard controls?
You can view the keyboard controls by pressing F1. Press F1 again to make them go away.

What is your policy on trading and account security?
All trades are done at your own risk. If you don't know the market and you sell your large shield gen for 50k, that's your responsibility. If you give an item to a player and he doesn't return it, that's your responsibility. If you give someone your password, which we urge you NEVER to do, that's your responsibility. GMs will not intervene with these issues.
It is prohibited though to sell accounts or resources, or to make any other profit by leaving accounts or resources to third parties.
